Tomeika Stokes

Tomeika Stokes supports scholars at Kairos who benefit from alternative approaches to learning academic skills. Entering her first year at Kairos with 10 years of certified teaching experience and personal experience as a parent of students with IEPs, Tomeika is excited to explore creative ways to help students grow academically and personally this year.

Tomeika earned both a B.S. in Special Education and Teaching and a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Fontbonne University. She identifies most with the Kairos value of excellence, striving to give her all in service of students’ growth as learners and as individuals. Outside of school, Tomeika is a first-time cat parent, a proud grandmother of three grandsons, and loves to sing.
