Morquise Evans
School Counselor
Morisque Evans serves as the School Counselor at Kairos, where he supports students’ social-emotional growth, helps them set and achieve goals, and partners with families and staff to ensure every student has the tools they need to thrive inside and outside the classroom. Now in his fourth year in education and first year at Kairos, Morisque is looking forward to building strong connections with students and families, supporting their personal growth, and celebrating their progress throughout the year.
Morisque earned his B.A. in Psychology from Harris-Stowe State University and his M.A. in School and Professional Counseling from Missouri Baptist University. He identifies most with the Kairos value of love, believing that genuine care, empathy, and compassion form the foundation for student success and well-being. Before joining Kairos, he worked as a College Advisor and a Graduate Support Advisor, guiding students through goal-setting, transitions, and long-term planning. Outside of school, Morisque enjoys working out with his four-year-old son, running two businesses as a graphic designer and business strategist, and managing his own clothing brand. He’s also a cheesecake enthusiast.
