
Brianna Willis
History Teacher
Brianna Willis serves as the History Department Chair and teaches high school history at Kairos. Now in her sixth year of teaching and fifth year at Kairos, she is especially excited to lead government this year, guiding students through the complexities of American politics during such a pivotal moment in history.
Brianna earned her B.A. in History and Gender and Diversity Studies from Murray State University, and an M.A. in International Relations with a Human Rights focus from Webster University Leiden, where she also completed a certificate in International Non-Governmental Organization and International Organization Studies. She identifies most with the Kairos value of agency, bringing initiative and leadership to both her classroom and department.
Beyond teaching, Brianna has worked with high school juniors and seniors on leadership and social justice curriculum. Originally from Memphis, she is a passionate Grizzlies fan. She has lived and studied around the world, including in Rwanda, and her academic expertise centers on genocide prevention.
