At Kairos, we believe that strong school leadership helps drive student success—and we’re excited for you to meet our incredible school principals!
Nick Guadiana will serve as the principal of Kairos Academies Middle School, and Adaure Nduka will lead Kairos Academies High School. Both leaders bring years of experience, deep passion for student growth, and a strong commitment to listening and acting on feedback from families, students, and staff.
Meet Mr. Guadiana – Principal, Kairos Middle School
Mr. Guadiana first joined Kairos four years ago as a 7th grade math teacher. Since then, he’s served as a department chair, instructional director, and principal-in-residence. His journey has been rooted in building strong school culture and academic excellence.
Why did he choose Kairos? In his words, “It’s the first place I’ve worked where success is the expectation.” He loves that Kairos has real systems in place to ensure students thrive—and that teachers and mentors are empowered to use data to meet students exactly where they are.
This year, Mr. Guadiana is especially excited about two big changes:
Stronger family partnerships through mentoring–with dedicated time during the week to contact families, and
A new schedule that adds more classroom time, especially in math and English (two subjects were students have traditionally struggled), plus the return of dedicated history and social studies classes.
During the first week of school, middle schoolers will participate in “Culture Camp,” where they’ll build relationships, learn expectations, and kick off their year with a strong sense of community and purpose.
Meet Ms. Nduka – Principal, Kairos High School
Ms. Nduka began her education career through Teach For America in 2013, teaching 9th grade biology in Texas. She was drawn to Kairos for its focus on mentorship, real-world readiness, and helping students build a clear path beyond high school.
She’s especially thrilled to lead Kairos High School during a historic year—our first graduating class! She’s also working with the Student Council to bring in more choice and challenge for students, including new AP classes and other courses that reflect student interests.
High schoolers can also expect new programs to build community, like our updated House system, which will help connect students across grades and with our middle schoolers.
During the first week of school, students will use their "Culture Camp" to dive into relationship-building, understand expectations, and lay the foundation for a strong, successful year. Don’t miss our Back to School Night, where families will learn about exciting new updates and how to partner with us this year.

We’re excited to welcome you to Kairos and can’t wait for everything this new school year will bring—especially because so many of these changes were shaped by your feedback.
