Nick Guadiana will serve as the next Principal of Kairos Academies Middle School beginning in the 2025–26 school year.
This is a full-circle moment for Nick, who began his Kairos career as a 7th grade math teacher where he quickly earned a reputation for building deep relationships and delivering rigorous, high-expectation instruction. From day one, Nick has embodied the heart of our mission: helping students achieve choice-filled lives through purpose, care, and excellence.
Over the past several years, Nick has taken on increasing leadership across our schools. As Founding Math Department Chair at Kairos High School, he led his team to some of the highest test scores among all open-enrollment high schools in St. Louis. As STEM Instructional Director, he designed coaching and planning systems that drove student growth above the national average. And this year, as our High School Principal in Residence, he’s strengthened school-wide systems and elevated a culture of high expectations.
As Nick often says: “Success shouldn’t feel like a surprise—it should be something we expect for every student who walks through our doors.”
We couldn’t agree more. Nick’s leadership is rooted in equity, strategy, and an all-in mindset. His promotion is not just well-earned—it’s a natural next step in his deep commitment to our school community.
Nick has already begun connecting with students and staff at the middle school and looks forward to meeting more families in the months ahead. If you see him at a school event, please say hello—he’s eager to hear your hopes for your student and share his vision for the future of our middle school.
Nick holds a Bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master’s in Education from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. But his greatest qualifications are the relationships he’s built and the trust he’s earned over four years of dedicated service to Kairos students and families.
